Text Messages You Receive During a Delivery
Postmates may send text messages during a delivery to provide necessary updates. If you would like to stop receiving these transactional text messages, you must deactivate your account as outlined in Postmates' Terms of Service.
You can deactivate your account in your account settings, by opening a Help Center ticket here, or by sending an email to email@example.com indicating that you no longer wish to receive any operational text messages, along with the phone number of the mobile device receiving the messages. You may continue to receive operational text messages for a short period while we process your request, and you may also receive text messages confirming the receipt of your opt-out request.
Text Messages You Receive Outside of a Delivery
You can opt out of receiving text messages you receive outside of a delivery by texting the word STOP in response to the text message. To re-enable these texts you can text START in response to an unsubscribe confirmation text message.
